Our Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing - Gym course is a starting point for those wishing to pursue a career as a fitness instructor. The Gym Instructor is the key member of any health and fitness centre and is the main contact with all members.
This course will equip you with the knowledge and ability to design and implement training programmes for a range of clients with varying health and fitness goals. You will cover modules in exercise and fitness knowledge, health, safety and professionalism and exercise technique and program design and gain a Central YMCA Qualifications Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing - Gym upon succesful completion.
Our Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training qualification comprises 5 units that all must be completed.
Once you have become a qualified Personal Trainer you could find yourself training a variety of clients in a mixture of training environments and locations. You will work with your clients following specialised training programs that you have designed to ensure they reach their goals.
This course gives you entry on to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 3 and can lead directly to employment. The Level 3 Advanced Fitness Instructing - Gym unit also needs to be completed before you can start working towards becoming a Level 4 Specialist Instructor.
